Beyond the image: Technique, Sound, and Narration.

I am Diego Ortuso, filmmaker, trainer, and Blackmagic Design certified instructor.

In the world of video, we often focus solely on the aesthetics of the image. My approach goes beyond that: I believe that a high-quality product is born from the perfect balance between careful visual storytelling and impeccable audio.

My career runs on two parallel tracks. On the one hand, I am an operational filmmaker, obsessed with technical quality and proper workflow management.

On the other hand, I am a trainer. Through my YouTube channel and industry courses (such as those for the National Videographers Association), I help colleagues and enthusiasts master complex tools such as DaVinci Resolve to put them at the service of storytelling.

I believe that audio is never an accessory, but 50% of the cinematic experience, which is why I specialize in live sound editing, mixing, and sound design.

My goal? To raise the standard of video productions, transforming raw footage into finished products that sound as good as they look.
